Where are the new Austinites living?

With our booming economy, the low unemployment rate that appeals to recent graduates, and the cultural scene having the reputation of the “Live Music Capital of the World,” Austin has been the talk of many articles in recent news across the country. According to Ryan Robinson, demographer for the city of Austin, the city attracts a net 110 new residents within he city limits every day. The Central Texas region, as a whole, gets an estimated 150 newcomers a day. With this many new residents arriving daily, it makes one wonder where exactly are they going?A new map created by the Austin Business Journal shows you where many of the new arrivals plant themselves when they move to Central Texas.
