How We’re Adapting to Recent Changes
It’s hard to be sure what the next several weeks will bring, but here’s the latest government mandate as it applies to our industry.
On March 31, Texas Governor Gregg Abbott signed an executive order, part of which deemed real estate an essential industry. Our Board of Realtors has said that Realtors can show properties across the market but should exercise great caution when doing so.
This is good news, as we have buyers with a genuine need to get into a home and sellers desperately needing to sell. One of the ways we at the Gregory Group have adjusted is by providing virtual walk-throughs for all of our listings. This ensures that only the most serious, informed buyers move forward with an in-person showing; buyers can even put forth an offer without having to step foot on the property.
As always, if you have any questions for us in these unusual times, please feel free to reach out by phone or email. We’re here to help.
